About TopChess100
The free, open platform for tracking live FIDE chess ratings and rankings of the world's top 100 players.
Our Mission
TopChess100 was created to make live chess ratings accessible to everyone. Official FIDE rating lists are published only once a month, but the chess world moves much faster. During major tournaments like the Candidates, Tata Steel, or Norway Chess, ratings fluctuate daily. Our platform captures these changes in real-time, giving fans and players the most up-to-date snapshot of the global chess hierarchy.
We believe chess data should be free, beautiful, and easy to understand. That's why we offer comprehensive tools for tracking player rankings, comparing performances, and exploring the global chess landscape — all at no cost.
